World Premier at the Stephen Joseph Theatre

The iconic, Grade II Listed Stephen Joseph Theatre here in Scarborough is the home of great theatrical performances ... and Sir Alan Ayckbourn, who also lives in the town, has penned a brand new play ready for the autumn.

Birthdays Past, Birthdays Present runs at the Westborough site from 4th September to 5th October 2019.

This is Sir Alan's 83rd play, making him one of the leading playwrights in the UK, if not the world.

Sir Alan is also celebrating his 80th birthday this year so it's an important milestone for him and the theatre.

You can buy tickets from the theatre 01723 370541 and prices start at £10.

There will be a post-show Q&A session on Tuesday 1st October, a British Sign Language interpreted performance Saturday 28th September at 2.30pm and a captioned performance on Thursday 3rd October from 7.30pm.
