Scarborough Jazz Festival is renowned in the music world and this year has its 16th 'outing'!

From 28th to 30th September 2018 inclusive, this award-winning event will take centre stage in the Grand Hall at Scarborough's Spa, overlooking the town's spectacular South Bay.

This celebration of jazz kicks off at 12.30pm on Friday 28th September and will hit all the right notes until Sunday evening (30th September).

Stage fillers include the Gareth Lockrane Big Band and the Stan Sulzmann Neon Orchestra.

Vocalists include Vimala Rowe, John Etheridge and Jo Harrop, among other talents.

Groups range from trios, quartets and even an octet, while there is also a rising star in the form of Andchuck.

Duo Dave Newton and Alan Barnes are celebrating 40 years as a duo during the event.
